New Dehli

Another packed breakfast but this time I unpacked what I wanted and left the big box. Our bags were loaded onto the coach and the coach took us to the slip road by New Delhi station. Porters took the bags on a wheel barrow thing and stood with us on the platform. We were in coach C4 and others in coach C3. Shakeel said to allow the porters to load the luggage on the train first and then we could get on but we got on the opposite end.

Journey was 6 hours. Ailsa got talking to a girl who worked with Google. I dropped my breakfast tray on the floor - but I didn’t want any of it anyway. Lunch wasn’t great but ok.

Coach took us from station to hotel. Hotel was very good. Greeted with bottled drinks - I thought it was cola but it wasn’t. Had swim. Rob had snooze. Snoozed to before tea. Tea was ok - but they do the trick with bottle of water on table that is chargeable. Had drink in bar before tea. Had virgin pina colada. Rob had virgin Bloody Mary - like a curry sauce.

Early to bed.

May was going to be operated on this afternoon.
